On the 30th of june Robert Lippok performed on the Karussell during late afternoon at Adam Chalks cozy gallery space GH36 located in Berlin's Mitte district.

The six modular systems comprising the Karussell were put together with the support of Alex4. It contains a complete portfolio of our brands: ACL, AJH Synth, Analogue Systems, Animal Factory Amplification, Cwejman, Doepfer, E-RM, Endorphin.es, Eowave, Flame, Frap Tools, Genki Instruments, Humble Audio, Kenton, TouellSkouarn, Verbos Electronics and Vermona. 

This was only Robert's third engagement on a larger modular synthesizer. It was very interesting to see how quickly he anticipated and found his way to play the Karussell. Listening to the recordings afterwards proofed again how well it works out to just let yourself go for a while, tape everything and browse the recordings later to see what you can find to involve into your musical work. We all had a beautiful afternoon there with Adam and look forward to share more sessions with you!

The Flame QSlider is an analog CV source with four 60 mm faders.

The control range of the four sliders can be set with two min/max controls. The Min control sets the output voltage at zero position of the slider and the Max control sets the output voltage at the end position of the slider. This allows you to limit the control range and still have the full control range of the slider available.

At a second output socket the inverted voltage is available (Min and Max are reversed). So the slider can also be used as a crossmix fader. The output sockets are located on an extra 4HP panel for mounting at any place (with approx. 40cm long connection cable). This way several modules can be mounted seamlessly next to each other.

In this video the QSlider controls various parameters, among others the pitch of the Doepfer A-111-4 Quad VCO and cutoff frequencies of the Eowave Fluctuations Magnétiques (Quad multimode filter).
