How to Make a Metropolis

In this video MylarMelodies explores how to recreate the 'repeated steps' M185/Metropolis concept from individual parts: A step sequencer, three clock dividers, plus a Doepfer A-150.

Meng Qi Wing Pinger examples

We are super happy to work with Meng Qi and be able to distribute his lovely and adventurous designs. The Wingie Mk2 is in production right now, we were able to see (not too much) of it during a livestream of Superbooth.

We do not have more pictures yet, please just enjoy looking forward to it with us.

While the Wingie yields quite musical results instantly, the Wing Pinger is certainly not so easy to tame or to understand, an instrument you should spend time with and learn to find the sweet spots, if you turn everything to eleven you will end up with harsh stuff quickly.

However, we recently saw two nice examples in which the Wing Pinger is played carefully with beautiful results.

One is an album by Scanner, the other one is the video on Youtube by Knivtid which you can see below.

AJH Synth Videos

While we are already taking preorders for the upcoming AJH Modules, the MiniMod Muting Mixer & VCA and the Dual RVG Random Voltage Event Generator (btw, both will be available in silver or black), we took a look at the new AJH Synth videos they have been posting to their Vimeo and Youtube Channels.

The Ring SM certainly is a favourite of ours, so we really enjoyed this video (but honestly, all of them are great and made to be understood and revisited, a great resource to learn about synthesis).
