E-RM Polygogo Stereo Oscillator

In this video we explore the musical capabilities of the E-RM Polygogo, a digital stereo oscillator powered by Polygonal Synthesis – a groundbreaking technique based on two-dimensional shaping of sine waves. By changing the number of vertices (Order) and their displacement (Teeth), the fundamental tone and harmonic structure are created. Rotational modulation (Roll) moves the sound across the stereo field or acts as vibrato, while the internal linear FM operator enriches the spectrum. An analog overflow stage (Fold) at the output adds grit and can act as a wave crusher.

With its one knob – one function interface, Polygogo is equally suited for live performance and detailed sound design. All parameters are directly accessible via sliders, and every one of them can be modulated through CV inputs – inviting constant play and experimentation.

From lush drones and massive basses to textures that feel almost acoustic, the Polygogo offers a wide and ever-evolving sonic palette.
